YAKIMA Fork Lift Bike Carrier

Yakima's Fork Lift Bike Carrier is designed for vehicles equipped with stock roof racks, allowing you to transport your bike without needing to adjust your existing rack setup. The adjustable trays and quick-release latch are compatible with most mountain or road bikes, and the option to add Yakima's SKS lock cores ensures your bike stays secure during long drives. This carrier is suitable for bikes with disc brakes, utilizing standard 100 mm x 9 mm quick release front hubs. Adapters are necessary for other types of hubs such as thru-axles.

The Fork Lift Bike Carrier can accommodate bikes up to 35 lbs, with an adjustable length sliding wheel tray that can easily accommodate various bike sizes. Installation is a breeze, requiring a minimum crossbar spread of 16" and a maximum of 42". Compatible with YAKIMA round, square, factory, and aerodynamic bars, this carrier can be attached and removed tool-free.

Unlike some bike carriers, the Fork Lift does not come into contact with the frame of the bike, instead holding it securely by the front axle and rear wheel to prevent any damage to the paint job. For added security, consider adding SKS locks (sold separately) to secure both the bike to the rack and the rack to the vehicle.
